My Training
The Daring Way™ – Informed Approach
I received extensive training and prior certification in The Daring Way™, a highly experiential methodology rooted in the research of Dr. Brené Brown. This work focuses on building shame resilience and cultivating courage, helping people show up with greater authenticity in how they live, love, parent, and lead. While the formal certification is no longer offered, these principles remain foundational to my practice.
Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) & Internal Family Systems (IFS)
TIST is a therapy approach developed by Janina Fisher to help individuals with severe trauma-related issues and self-destructive behaviors like PTSD, mood disorders, and addiction. TIST combines various therapeutic modalities like mindfulness somatics, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to address how the brain functions after trauma, focusing on understanding and empowering clients rather than pathologizing them.
Groups
Group therapy has many benefits! Working in a group can help you practice interacting with other people in a safe space, and learn new ways to communicate your feelings with others. One of the most valuable gifts is it helps people feel less alone.

Spiritual, Religious, Cult Abuse Process Group
Spiritual abuse is the manipulation and control wielded by a leader or system within a belief framework. It often leads to deep trauma, causing anxiety, depression, and a loss of self-trust. Leaving such a group can be isolating, especially when family and friends are still involved.
Our support group understands the challenges of leaving and offers a safe space for those who have felt shame, isolation, or confusion. Sharing similar experiences can be a powerful way to heal. We focus on embracing personal values, fostering curiosity, and rebuilding self-trust.
By connecting with others who have undergone similar experiences, we can navigate the difficult journey of recovery together. This support group aims to provide a supportive community for those impacted by spiritual abuse, offering validation, understanding, and tools for rebuilding a sense of self and moving forward.
